Very cute, I love how bright the colors are, and the shading on the eye is perfect. I would've liked to see darker shading on the character though, it would make him pop more.

I did a quick redline of the legs and body. The body seems flat compared to everything else, so try imagining where the spine would be in that position. Green is basic outline, orange=bonestructure

Ah so yeah this is tryout 2! Her name is Myu and she is a lizard/human. Oh, the originality~ Well, vote away! And crits are loved as always. Sadly though, the background is lacking as it was in my first...sorry 'bout that. ANYWAYS in or out??

Definately in, beautiful shading, and the glow on the green scales, especcially on the feet, are perfect xP

Also, great use of the shadow underneath her, it really makes her look like she's sitting on the ground rather than floating ^^

Shipainter wouldn't open for some reason, but I suspect thats cause our internets really slow atm.

Spwee! It looks awesome. I love the cobblestone and design. For crits I'd say that though the legs are thin and stylized you should make them more uniform in size. The front closest leg looks a little too thick compared to the other legs. Especially the back front it's so darn skinny it looks like a front leg. I'd go for darker shades and blend the background more. There could be more shadows especially under and the neck shading looks too blocky and planned. The light and shadow are both too prominent.

Good luck on the next one but really I think this should be an in.

Hey this is really cool!!
The only thing that really bothers me is that it's so hard to tell what kind of animal this is. The legs, tail, and neck are really...cheetah...somekindoffeline-ish, while the head looks really canine. This is probably a hybrid of some sort though, and I might need to facepalm as soon as/if you reply. |D;
The perspective of the background is off, but I'm not too concerned about that.

So just work on that stuff, and of course the previously mentioned things, and you shouldn't have any problems at all being accepted!

Really happy with this. Used a general reference ref for the face but I changed it up a lot. This is mostly watercolor with a bit of pen outlining and airbrush to create a smooth sky and smooth some impossible watercolor lumps.

I love how the background fits the pose and character!
The eyes look like they're bleeding color, it would perhaps more look like glow if you had faded the lineart and used the dodge tool alittle more inside the eyes?
Also, I would like to see darker shadows to fit the darker background, it looks like you only used highlights?

I was at pirate festival and woman really did get their neckline that low, knowing me, i had to draw it.

Medieval corsets XP always fun.

Cool concept, only next time try to show a complete full body, you can resize the canvas without majorly affecting your image ^^

Also, having a background that the character is part of will help alot on your second tryout, good luck!

THIS OEKAKI I SWEAR

this is niji again D:< why does weazie always do this to me! First it did it with Starsky, now it does it with Niji! Whenever I try to log in it says 'access is denied'. I know for sure I typed my password correct. Argh. D:<

raisin's the fursona i had before niji but i think I'm going back to her. Niji'll still be around, just won't be the character i use to represent myself. xD

The reason why it does that is if you have your browser remember your password, and you go in to change something on your profile, your browser will put in the password down where you change it, and if you don't delete it, the oekaki will think you're changing your password.
