I at least think it looks amazing o3o your shading/coloring is superb as always, I love how that cloth and those steel bars look... and I like the backrgound to it too... I can't see why you dislike it yourself D:

Loving the background, though the shadows on the clouds could've been blended into a more smooth look.

The face looked really good to me. One thing that bothers me is the cloth she is on. What is it anchored to? OTHERWISE, I love this tryout

Adorable pose, next time though, if you could put more detail into the the background, like maybe adding more detail in the grass and fur, and perhaps smoothing your lines?

hmm well, the only thing I see wrong with this, besides what Anne pointed out, is that the body is too small compared to the head. And the light source is a little confusing, because on the yellow dog it looks like it's coming from our point of view, while on the brown dog it looks like it's coming from the yellow dog. If it was coming from the yellow dog, the gars would also be lit around where the yellow dog is laying.

This is very cute. I love the idea of it, and how you experimented with perspective and tried to make something different.

However, there are a few things I want to point out. You did a pretty good job with the limbs and paws, but the necks of the two dogs are off. The head of the brown dog is too large and the neck is not long enough, or the shoulders are too far up. The yellow dog's neck is way too thin and needs to be thickened. The yellow dog's nose does not look like that at that angle...I wish i could redline but I don't have my tablet. it's kinda hard to explain.

Your shading is okay on the subject matter albeit a bit messy. You need to define more high lights in your picture, they seem to just be concentrated in very limited areas. It is hard to shade a light colour such as yellow, I understand, but I'd like to see more shading on the yellow dog. The lineart is a bit messy, if you cleaned it up and thinned it in some places it'd make the picture look a lot more polished. For the background it's a start, but it looks rushed. Try taking a little more time on the grass and making the background interact with the character.
