but it still has a manga vibe. maybe it's just the eyes and brow over the hair thing, they look very manga-esque, like the eyes should maybe be smaller even...the lower half of the face is good, the lips are nice and even as is the nose...very good, your shading is nice

ummm I like the white hair but maybe you could add like some blond lowlights or something?

thanks for the critique, Unknown~! (is it OK if I call you UA?) Yah, I tend to draw in manga style.. trying to test out semi-realism but it starts looking scary after a while LOL
eagghhh the right eye is bothering me, I might block it out.. with hair.. XD lol

Hmmm.. yeah brightening up the sun might help... or make the higher part of the sky darker??
and adding just a tiny bit of ambient lighting in the front-center of the characters' clothes might make them more lifelike.. maybe..? your call

I'm not brave enough to just use the watercolor tool... I usually mix it up with airbrush or blur ^_^

I don't think I've ever used watercolours for any serious pictures before, it's not really my thing xD;

I think you've pulled it off quite well though, and I have to agree, I love those clouds!

Haha, I only used watercolors until recently, when I got a tablet and discovered pen pressure. They're really easy once you get a little practice.

W-well it's done! I'm sorry it took so long for me to start on my third tryout |D; I really had no idea what to draw for a long time.

I sorta feel bad because all my pictures are cats but really... cats are the only thing I feel confident enough to draw to get accepted :D; Other things like canines and rodents are works in process. I only JUST started drawing rodents a lot and I have a problem of defining canines. I can't seem to define a fox from a dog from a wolf very well. I'm working on that |D

And I decided to draw this because I got a lot better at drawing female bodies. :3 Like... pretty quickly.

So crit away~

You've definately been improving throughout your tryouts, but I would've liked to see stronger lighting on the black parts, especcially with the moon so big.
The shading on the face is really nice, and the lock of red is really well done. Overall, I'll say in. ^^

Alright there is obviously BIG improvement right here!
The proportions are well balanced out and you really seem to be strengthening your style! However, as stated, I would have liked to see some more distinct shading. However, the shading is beautiful it?s just a bit hard to distinguish between the different shades. But the highlights in the hair are wonderful and I really enjoy the serene feeling this image gives off. And I must say, I LOVE that right hand! Overall I vote in as well. You?ve obviously grown in many areas and I feel that you are defiantly intermediate enough. Hope to see more from you soon <3

Great improvement! Oh this looks nice.
I like how you used different colors to outline your character and how your subject shows action

For a touch-up, I might erase the gray line either half-way or completely in the elbow area and put some shading instead to keep the smooth look. The glow around the stars are also done very well.

The violin and angles of the feet might be a little wonky.. but I still give you kudos because most people are paranoid about drawing feet..... and musical instruments (myself included).

And don't feel bad about only being able to draw cats... I can really only draw men... so let's both practice to draw other things well together~ <3

Or.. you know, we can both just really improve on drawing cats and men to make a sweet trademark
