I've been a member of the advanced since like, September 2007, guys. Dx Why is it every time I draw here even admins think I'm trying out when I say nothing of the sort?

Anyway, this was a request for a fur called Niyoh. Tis his tricky chimera (I kept thinking dragon and getting it wrong :{).

But this is pretty cool. I love the vibrant colours and the face, it's especially well done (: Nice combo of solids and watercolour, too.

idk ouo it seems the only time people post is to tryout usually O_o

and most find the fullbody+background thing a pain, so they assume you did it only because you had to. ouo

I personally think this is amazing and you are extremely good at making fur seem really soft. Maybe a little more darkness in some areas so it doesn't blend in with the background and maybe around the eyes too so it doesn't look plastered on. Good job with the head/face!

Thanks. Yeah, I've got to work on doing the background on the same layer too to stop that from happening - stop having it as an afterthought.

Eyes are always a bit of a mystery to me in lineless - it doesn't matter what I try they still look like googly eyes. Next time I'll try highlighting til much further in so the indentation is closer to the ball.

I'm surprised you didn't get on me about the tail, shoulder, paws, neck, stray leg, and random dark patches where I didn't cover the base right. They're quite a mess. ^^;;
