I just got my neopet an Angelpussie
I named it dog, and really I only got it to try and get the turmaculus avvie and to get whatever's in the symole hole.
In the past 2 days I've had it I discovered I like throwing it in with it's eyes open, and it kinda makes me wonder what he/she might see down there. Or just how traumatizing being thrown down into a deep, dark hole might be
really quick shading/lighting practice.

I got bored
and I love drawing their character
I always make him look like a girl though
obviously he's supposed to look girly but still not completely like a girl
as I draw him.
But ahh I'm tried drawing him manly and it never really works out

hay hay hay you admin people you. I gotsa little suggestion.
You know how it was asked by Voodoo a bit ago to have people change the events more often? Well, maybe when we make a new event, we can put the date it was changed next to the event subject? It doesn't really have to be done, but it'll help give other admins an idea of when to change the thing. There's been plenty of times when I've wanted to change it, but I wasn't sure if it had been going on long enough for it to be changed. And I'm sure there have been times when a single event only would go on for one day and then it was changed the next day.
Idk I just kinda thought of this when I was think of changing the event. I wasn't sure how long it had been going on for lol.Oh, and it doesn't have to be a whole "THIS EVENT WAS CHANGED ON APRIL BLAH 2009" or anything, just a simple 4/6 would do just fine C:
Any input on this?

That'd be really helpful, especially since the event is supposed to be changed every Sunday. The beginner and intermediate boards seem to be doing fine with the event but the advanced...I can exactly say. :I

I think that's a good idea, and it looks like everyone's in favour.

The events aren't practiced very much at all/the themes of the week, but that's mainly the whim of us and the members, so it's more like something as a kind of creativity boost for someone if they don't know what to draw.

I saw you dudes doing 'theme banners' for a while in the normal oekaki, and I thought that was a really good idea too. Of course it will be tedious to draw a new banner everytime the theme is changed, but we could all work together. Ok, how's this:

-The person who thinks of the theme will draw the banner (don't worry it'll just be a simple transparent image, nothin' fancy)
-If not, then if someone else wants to, that'll be fine.

Oh and lol, don't be afraid to be crazy with the themes. It doesn't always have to be 'fursona/character' related. And guys, don't be afraid to omail an admin a suggestion for a theme either! <:

The idea of banner might become hard, but we can give it a try.
It's a fun idea though and I did notice that at the Beginner Oekaki.

I really hate the scent of most flowers?
I think they're pretty but they smell horrible. There's a couple I like but I can't name them off-hand..
I like.. fruity scents though. I think everyone does..
What are some of your favorite scents?
I really love Pinesol.. and like.. lemon scents and stuff.

Ugh, I -hatehatehate- the scent of flowers. Walking through the flower department of the nearby store to get to the rest of it almost makes me gag. Dx I also hate the scent of fresh-cut-grass and most plant-scents.

Except for wood. I think my favorite scent is my rat's bedding when it's clean 'cause it puts a nice, wood-y scent in the air. <3 I also like the scent of oranges and lemons, and of course vanilla. :3

For some reason I'm reminded, there's these trees near my house and my entire family calls them 'stinktrees'. They look like small cherry blossoms but bloom white instead of pink and smell like decaying fish. Dx They're pretty when they bloom but GOD if only someone could spray them with febreeze or something!

it's toxic...

Starsky: UUUUGGHH I HATE THE SMELL OF CUT GRASS ;0; It's so annoyyinnggg..
Flowers don't really make me gag just because there's SO MANY OF THEM here it's kinda hard not to at least build up a tolerance for them cause when someone gets a lei or some kinda flower thing and they tell you to smell it because it smells so good or soemthing like that ;; its really mean just because you're not gonna be like "oh no sorry I think leis smell like crap"
And lol we have this one tree around here with these horrriibbllee smelling big red flowers.. And they have like.. these little bud things that they sprout out of, and you can pop them on people and it smells disgusstinngg you just need to be sure you're popping the right way while doing it...

i love when we mow our yard i think that smells good, but like most other naturey smells i dont care for

I'm not really picky when it comes to the smell of flowers but there are these flowers that smell like skunk spray and they're common here in landscaping and I can't stand them

I hate the smell of gasoline, tires, my brother's feet, (I don't think anyone could possibly like that smell ever) and sickeningly strong sweet smelling things. I have this air freshener that smells like apple pie in my room. When I first opened it up and put the little sticks in it the smell was so strong and sweet it made me want to gag. I actually moved it to the laundry room for a day then put it back in my room because it smelled really good when it wasn't strong. I nede to flip the little sticks over soon though. I'm gonna have to do that tomorrow morning before I go to school gfds
Oh, and in my front yard, there's this bush/tree thing with dark red leaves. During spring for about a week or two there's these light pink flowers that bloom. They smell so freaking good omgggg<33 It's like a fruity type of smell it's so amazing<3 I don't know what the bush is called though. There's a few of them around in my neighborhood, but I haven't seen a lot anywhere else.

Other than that, I love the smell of most foods when they're cooking -shot-
And play dough. idk I love the smell of play dough ;u; Whenever I;m babysitting and the kids want to play with play dough I get so happy because I love the smell of it gfdsgdgds

i have a lot of scents that i like. :] oddly i like the smell of gasoline haha. i love the smell of freshly cut grass, plants in general, and most flowers. ESPECIALLY HONEY SUCKLES om those are my favorite. i used to eat the honey nectar out of them all the time when i was little :]

i really love naturey smells which is weird because im not a very outdoorish person. like i hate camping and stuff haha. but i LOVE being in the fresh mountain air, kinda like in vermont. and the smell of rain. and i absolutely love the smell of burning wood outside, like if you have a bonfire or something. i actually like sweet smelling perfumes, but nothing too cheap smelling. i hate when people bathe in them though like one of you guys said.

and i hate the smell of fish...i hate seafood in general haha. the smell of cheese makes me gag too. thats it

Incedible work, darling. The details and the textures you did to make it look more tangible and real must've taken you forever. Awesome outcome oh my godddd

For my crit I'd make the highlights coming from the light above the water stronger. It would bring out the focal point of the picture more (that cute little dragon) and such. I don't know the white light coming down on the side of the pool kind of bothers me, it looks like a cloud of dust or something. That's where the light is strongest, I see, and if more tints were added to the areas closer to the light (like some of the rocks, and the back of the dragon), it'd polish it off.

The horns seem to be the lightest area of the dragon, and I don't get it since the light source is not coming from the direction the horns would be illuminated [if] there was a light source from there. But whatever, this is very, very well done.

Wow you're right o__o
The light on the horns and dragon seems out of place. I just realized the glowing pokeball marking on the rocks isn't actually suppose to be glowing >__0 The reason why I illuminated the horns so much was because I wanted to give it the illusion of being made of a glassy substance, and the light would be due to the marking on the rock.
As for the column of 'light', that's suppose to be bubbles (he dove down into the lake)

I think I did make it too bright. D: But it's not suppose to be a light source. My bad
