Take it to o-mail, or o-mail an admin and let them handle the situation, but please remember that this is not your personal hugbox and no one is going to feel sorry for you for starting anything and being treated like a dick for doing so. - There is no real time limit for drawing on this board, but you should try to spend about 10 minutes on a picture before sending. Spam wars are okay from time to time, as long as they only occur when activity has slowed down and they don't last much longer than 2-3 days. - Try to refrain from posting inappropriate material here. Inappropriate meaning porn. No porn pictures please. We're pretty lenient but we don't want porn everywhere on our oekaki, thanks. (lulz is good though) - Cursing is fine unless it becomes a problem, i.e. cursing excessively or (Intentionally) offending other members. - Unaccepted members may comment, but remember that any etiquette rules apply to you too! Those trying out are encouraged to provide feedback too, as this shows an interest in actively participating in this community. - The punishment for breaking any rules, depending on the severity, is either a warning or a suspension of your account, which will prohibit you from drawing or commenting on any of the three boards. A suspension may last anywhere between a few days or weeks to a few months; when your suspension is up, you may comment and draw again. Do NOT create a new account to leave any snarky remarks while suspended. We get it, you're upset, but this WILL NOT help your case. At all. If you feel that your suspension was unwarranted, you may contact one of the admins about it. - Regarding Archives: An Archived picture is one that is saved on the board forever, and won't ever be "Bumped off" regardless of how much time has passed since it was first submitted to the board. Here at Weazie, pictures may be archived if they are [1] deemed worthy by the active members of the oekaki or [2] a WIP that will not be finished within a short amount of time (Safety archive). If you feel that a picture should be archived, mention it in the comment section of the picture and the rest of the members will vote on whether or not they feel it should be archived, and why. If you would like a safety archive, please O-MAIL AN ADMIN and they will happily oblige. Tryout Rules - To draw freely at this oekaki, you must draw ONE tryout picture to be judged by the members here - Your tryout must be the best of your abilities, showing that you have skills in oekaki. Your tryout should be neat, with good coloring, shading, good understanding of the anatomy of the subject, and a background of some sort. - You are also asked to provide examples of recent artwork. Like a link to your deviantart/sheezyart gallery will do just fine. This is so that, rather than making the tryout process incredibly pointless and tedious, accepted members can get a good idea of the quality of art you'd draw while you're here. - You may not request critiques on an incomplete tryout--we want to know what you can do on your own already, not what we can help you with. - Once you post your tryout, the accepted members will critique it and vote on whether you've made it in or not. Generally the rule of thumb is to let the picture be bumped off the page before assuming whether or not you're accepted, although with the activity of this place it's usually pretty obvious before then. - If you have been inactive for six months to a year or more, you DO NOT have to tryout again, as long as you can provide some sort of proof that you haven't been stagnating or getting worse in that period of time. - Your tryout MUST be drawn at THIS oekaki. - Please remain a decent person if you're voted out! This does not mean that you're disliked, it just means that you're not quite up to par yet. Take your critiques to heart and spend the next six weeks improving, then try again. - Lastly, if you have trouble with your tryout, omail an admin to ask for help! Any Questions?
