haha its okay at least they're training you, when I went to my training for an ushering job they spent 90% of the time explaining the park AROUND my job arrea, how to work a ticketing machine (but i'm a late shift therefore will never be at the doors doing tickets) uhhhh stupid group games actually it was weird made me feel like I was back in one of those high school assemblies.

Funny thing they never showed us how to read the 3 different kind of tickets which is pretty much all of what my job consists of doing.

Oh wow! Love the background!

I would like to see darker shadows though due to the darkness of everything else, that way the highlights would stand out more?
Overall though, good job XP

Oh this is lovely lighting and the tones in the background are great, there's just a few problems with the anatomy. I'll edit this comment when i finish a redline.

Oh and since it's night I think that the shading overall on the dog would be a lot darker. Here I see a lot of gradient shading which wouldn't really apply in this situation, a dark night with of course light coming from the firecrackers, which I see you've created with the tones.

Also, be careful about pillow shading! 8U

This looks really nice! I think I have an idea to help you get a firmer grasp on form and shading. Maybe do a few sketches of things your comfertable drawing. Then just shade them with one color to practice form. Your shading is lovely color and blending wise but I think you get carried away with that part sometimes and lose the basic form of what you're shading. Like for instance, the neck on the character here has lovely blending, but it's inaccurate. I hope you understand what I mean!

By the way, I love the textures you used in the sky (: It looks almost smokey

Okay I really...don't have much to say about this but I'm seriously...in love with that shading OKAY?? That would've taken me a lifetime...and I can appreciate that. <3
The only thing that bothers me is that the character looks a little emaciated but idk...some characters are just...stylized like that, so I'll shutup. And I really such at crits kthx

I would only just suggest putting more of a bg and subject matter into your next tryout, and good luck!

I always feel bad sayin' that, 'cause she wasn't meant to be one of those sparkledogs who're anorexic and all, but yeah!
Ha ha, shading is usually my favorite part of pictures... but crap I just realized this might not be fullbody. OH WELL, BACKGROUND INTERACTION/THOUGHT AND SUBJECT MATTER COMING UP

BUMPED AGAIN COS THIS NEEDS MORE CRITS u___u

Hey there! This is still pretty nice so don't worry about it :'D

I love the fire and the light around it but the dog in the foreground I see some problems on. The head is much too round and just the shading on it looks a bit unnatural, the type you're using would make it seem a bit more comfortable if you added some fur textures?

What I would do is shape the head to be less large and round, and maybe add some more texture to the thing in the foreground since that's the main focal point of the picture and you want the most detail on that. Good luck on your next tryout!

Well, I know the shape of the head is just how the character is, and I'm pretty sure all of the other crits were pointed out and stuff.
