so not that im trying to be a dick.... but whats the deal with something unfinished being in the advanced oekaki. let alone archived? theres no rhyme or reason to these three boards might as well combine all of them to one.

Pretty sure it's a safety archive? We used to do these a lot; they get deleted as soon as whoever it is finishes (Speaking of, I think we should go ahead and unarchive some things?? Just the WIPs anyway, I don't think anyone's gonna finish lol). This place is wayyy behind the times so we don't have any sort of fancy safety save feature or anything. /The more you know~*~*~
And we're not really any sort of ~*~elite~*~ oekaki; tbh it's more "Community" in here than anything, so we're pretty chill about doodles and such here. But I see what you mean!

No man, I totally agree with you, and it's something we've been discussing (Or have discussed, anyway) for a long time. Problem is, the owner of this place is pretty much dead, and she's the only one who can make any major changes like that. Nothing against her or anything, but even when she DOES come by, she only really pays attention to this board (Even if the activity is dead/dying) so I don't know why she DOESN'T just merge the boards...

Man, now that the safety archives have been brought up, can we make some sort of rule on those? Like "WIPs will only be safety archived for x number of weeks/months" or something like that.

I don't things really need to be safety archived here personally. maybe if we were giant like SRON but things don't bump off in a matter of days and I'm pretty sure if you haven't finished it after a couple months you never are -says the person who still has pics up from 2 years ago-

and actually thinking of it, is SRON/SSO only not loading for me? I went to go draw a pic on SRON so I wouldn't have to retryout a couple weeks ago and it wouldn't load and I went back again today and it's still down

BUT UMMM... I don't really... think we need any rules about safety archives??? I mean.. This board IS pretty slow. And even if we did make a rule for a certain amount of days, it's not like anyone's really going to rememberlollllgfds Unless it's like.. 2 days. Or something but a safety archive for only 2 days is pointless.

And if one of us happens to look through the archives and finds something old that's still archived, we could just delete it htrkvfds.

THEN AGAIN I'M THE ONE WHO DOESN'T GIVE MUCH OF A SHIT ABOUT THESE SORTS OF LITTLE THINGS I only really worry about the more important stuff haha 8D;;
