okay wow you worked a long time on this?
it's pretty cool actually and i always enjoy your pastel colors a lot

um, as far as crits go i'm so bad at giving them!!
but uh, the first thing i notice is that the background is really plain? like, it just looks like you dodge/burned blue and drew white lines on it? idk i can't really tell where you were going with that
this also takes away from the background/figure interacting, and it doesn't really have a defined scene, and it's a little random?

as far as the figure goes itself, you have the basic knowledge of anatomy, which is cool
but, (it just may be the armor) i can't really tell what gender this is? it's face/body shape is pretty androgynous
also with the way the body is twisting, it looks a little awkward and uncomfortable? and one of the hands is really really good (the right) and the other one is kind of... weirdly curved? i just tried doing it and it hurt...!!

yeah.. this is why I tend to draw cyborgs and droids a lot.. I can fudge up their anatomy and blame it on their mechanics *SHOT*
Will put more focus on an interactive bg and a more organic subject for the next one lol

@Toast - Yeah, it's been a while! XDD. You and DW are like.. the first ppls I met here <3

I LOVE THIS
i like the shading/highlighting on the armour but it could be deeper, i know i ALWAYS SAY THIS but i love deep, dark shading!!! it really brings out the depth of a picture. or maybe that's just me being lame.
anyway! the fingers seem a little too long to me on the left hand (our left), and the other hand seems to be bent in a weird way, as if the wrist is curled... like.... a swiss roll.... or chelsea bun or something. I HAVE FOOD ON THE MIND OK.

i would draw you a redline but i fail so hard at males (i assume this is a male? and lol that rhymes olololol) so i'd probably butcher it, but s/he seems slightly too thin as well.

again background = pretty plain but backgrounds don't bother me so w/e

all in all i love this! the lines are gr8

No no don't worry about the repeats; it just reconfirms what I need to work on hehe!
About the deep shading... do you think you could show me an example image of it? I tried doing that in this drawing, but apparently it didn't show through. lol
