OYOY SEXY!!!!!! this is great, but his right arm looks a lot thinner than the left, and too curvy, as if his bones are bending... that's all i can see that's off at the moment. this is so great though THOSE ABS woww

This is amazing, my dear. The detail in those pants are to die for.

If you want a crit the only thing I can say is use one of those photoshop tools and center him. He ish leaning to his right. Then we have perfection. c:

Hello! There's been a recent change to the rules so that only one tryout is required. If you want to finish this one, go right ahead, but at this point the only requirement is for you to post a link to your deviantart gallery. (Or any other gallery you may have, or even a few links to some recent works of yours)

I tried a different coloring style with this one... it was fun!

I like how the siblings turned out... but the cyborg is.. eh, not what I expected. Need to study my mechs more lol

oh wow that is some awesome colouring!! just a tip tho, try not to go crazy with the white highlights, especially with the airbrush tool. they kind of make the picture look too bevel-boss like... too shiny, i guess? and the ppl end up looking like plastic. i like the way you used a kind of lens flare type thing to make the background seem like an extreme contrast.

sorry if you didn't want any crits dskghdklg anyway this looks gr8 finished!!!

i wouldn't worry about anatomy too much when it comes to animals. the human eye is pretty much trained to notice every single imperfection in human anatomy, but when it comes to animals, it doesn't matter if a dog's ear is too big or whatever, as long as they're not glaringly obvious.

im just super exhausted from school.
and you know what I noticed... everyone in my lunch group has a bf/gf or someone that they like/likes them.. and so then they go off with their lovers and im just the loner out of the bunch.. D:
then some ppl try and suggest me guys that i barely even know (one time it was actually rather hilarious tho, because the guys this girl was suggesting was like, guys who will NEVER get girlfriends.. im srs...) and im just thinking "but... i.. dont like them... i like.. someone else."
and arghhh its just too frustrating.
anyways, enough of that.
im sorry for not being active.. i've just been way too busy with school and lately ive been staying up really late every night so ive been reallllly tired. D:

anywayss.. i gotta go clean my fish tank. a disease broke out, killing three fish already, so i better save the last 4 while i can.. D:

If you run out of bytes, just hit print screen, save the image as a .png file, and let one of the admins know. They'll upload it for you so you can work on it more... but your layers will be gone, so be careful!

well now this is done i guess it's safe to crit! the background could have a lot more detail but i won't dwell on that because they're not a big deal to me. you did the lighting very well! i really love that red. there are some colour bleeds that you could fix and your dynamic shading is great but pretty messy.
i'll redline later because i'm at a friend's house... the anatomy is what i think you need to work on the most but i can't explain without a redline fhfjdkshdgg
all in all i'm sure you'll have no trouble getting in.

Very sweet shading and bg. Those blue highlights make my day

So super kudos for those. My one point for improvement is to also 'shade' your lineart or in other words, have it in the same style as your coloring. The lines look a touch too harsh for me... I've gone through the same thing in my old tryouts too haha and it's the same advice that I got. :3
