so you guys have probably noticed all the huge changes here???? YEAH we finally cleaned up around here! I'll detail all the changes we've made:

-new layouts! EVERYTHING IS BRIGHT AND CUTE AND NEW ????? DING DANG, if you've got any suggestions please let me know and I'll see what I can do!

-updated rules! please go over them when you get the chance, and as always we're open to suggestions (:

-no more tryouts! the intermediate board will no longer serve as an 'advanced' board, so much as an 'improvement' board. we've felt for a long time that the tryout process seemed exclusionary and unnecessary (especially since we didn't post much 'advanced' work after getting accepted anyway, it just felt like an exclusive club or something lmao), so I'm really pleased with the new route we're taking! we'd like the new weazie oekaki to be a more inclusive and supportive community than we've ever been!

-WOA is now OFFICIALLY a spam board! I mean, it's kind of been a spam board for a loooong time now, but now it's actually open to everyone haha. :')) just please remember that we're no longer going to be focused on the artwork itself so much?? if that..makes any sense. you're welcome to post proper pictures here, we're not too strict, but the content should be kept mostly to shitty doodles, personal posts, conversation, etc. we're trash baby central, look we're poop green and everything???

-WOB will remain unchanged for the most part, however as we now have a designated spam board we may be a little more strict on spam posts there! please continue drawing to your heart's content~*~*~

aaand that's pretty much it thus far, the notice area is still under major construction and should be updated slowly but surely over the next couple days maybe? so sorry if it looks really gross for awhile! as always, if you've got any ideas we're definitely open to them! I'm the one who's been updating all the CSS n shit (I'm not actually very good at it though ahh!!), so if you've got a suggestion or complaint with the layout please bring it to me as I'll be the one fixing it!!

and before anyone asks...unfortunately we can't change the URLs, so the boards will continue to be referred to as 'beginner', 'intermediate', and 'advanced'. just try not to think of them in terms of skill level maybe?? we'd definitely like to rename the boards, but no one's really getting their hopes up haha...just think of 'advanced' as 'advanced stupid' and it shouldn't be too confusing though, I guess :')))

but no omg gomen I actually just wanted 2 draw chubby anime axolotl babby and then I accidentally WOI colors so I gave him cute hat and doodled tiny babby blue n green ones to match ye

that reminds me, we should probably like?? poll everyone on whether we actually want mascots or w/e bc a mascot design contest could be a rly fun ~grand reopening~ event thing aaa !!! it'd be cool if we could have events every now n then to keep activity up idk :barf:

It's the least active board and we closed it off so that we could have an area to discuss it all, and I'm still not sure why discussions leaked into this oekaki...
